A pro-life activist says it's "unacceptable" that the Biden administration is illegally taking funds away from soldiers' legitimate needs while continuing to use tax dollars to break the law.

Starting next month, the Pentagon will begin illegally using taxpayer dollars to cover the costs of transporting soldiers and their family members from pro-life states to others where they can terminate their preborn babies.

This new policy comes on the heels of the news that the military is cutting soldiers' living expenses, which means funds that should be used to pay for legitimate needs will instead be used for abortion tourism.

"The administration is using its defense budget to kill unborn children," Carol Tobias of the National Right to Life Committee summarizes. "That is unacceptable, and I cannot believe that it is highly approved by a great majority of our members of the military."

For one thing, it violates the Hyde Amendment.

"There are many iterations of that that affect different portions of the government, but federal dollars are not to be used to pay for abortion or pay for accessing abortion," she explains. "The administration is just completely ignoring federal statute."

Meanwhile, Alabama U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R) continues to block pay raises and nominations for military until the Biden administration ends its lawless use of federal tax dollars for abortion.
