Pro-life organizations are gearing up to educate Ohio voters on a proposed constitutional amendment that they argue is extreme and dangerous.

Abortion advocates have obtained approval from the office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost for the language in a proposed constitutional amendment and soon will be gathering signatures to place it on a future ballot. Elizabeth Marbach of Ohio Right to Life explains what the language would do.

"It would make abortion legal through all nine months of pregnancy with zero stipulations, zero restrictions on it," she tells AFN. "It would additionally remove any other common sense pro-life laws like parental consent or any laws that would force health and safety standards on these abortion clinics to make sure that women are safe."

The approved language clearly reflects "wokeness," three times referring to the "pregnant patient" instead of "the woman."

If the proposed constitutional amendment were to be approved by voters, all previously enacted pro-life laws in Ohio would be nullified. So, the war to block it and save the lives of preborn babies is on.

"We're going to be spending the next year just educating Ohio voters so that they know the truth and that they're not tricked and manipulated by the abortion lobby," Marbach continues. "[Also] they're going to be able to walk into the ballot booth equipped with knowledge so that they can make the appropriate choice in voting 'no' for this harmful, harmful constitutional amendment."

That is, of course, if abortion extremists in Ohio gather the required 442,000 signatures to get it on the ballot in the first place.
