Pro-life students are planning a trip to the Walgreens headquarters.

In response to Walgreens' leadership announcing that the company will become certified with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to carry chemical abortion pills, Students for Life of America (SFLA) is hosting a Cancel Abortion Cartels event.

"Right now, as a result of the Department of Justice, Biden administration, [and] Health and Human Services' actions, we are prepared to turn our neighborhood pharmacy into another abortion vender," laments SFLA's Kristi Hamrick. "This is appalling, and this should frighten people. These are deadly pills that can kill people."

The protest will take place at 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on February 14th at the Walgreens Headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois. Other events are also planned to demand that local pharmacies "opt out" of selling dangerous chemical abortion pills.

"We're going to have a National Day of Protests for pharmacies on March 4th, and we're asking people to go to our website so they can send a valentine to their pharmacist, asking them to love them both, to love both mother and child," Hamrick details. "Turning our healthcare centers into centers of death, turning those distributing pills to protect life into those selling pills to end life is an absolute abuse of the best healthcare system in the world. So we are asking people to help us Cancel the Abortion Cartels, the thing that they're trying to set up right now in a pharmacy near you."

CVS and Rite-Aid have also decided to enroll in the FDA's chemical abortion pill certification program.
