The study, done by Rita Diller of American Life League, compared the market price of Mifeprex and generic version mifepristone to charges reflected in research from the abortion-supporting Guttmacher Institute and abortion giant Planned Parenthood.
Life League spokesman Hugh Brown tells AFN initially there was the name brand abortion pill but now there is the generic pill that he says can be purchased at a pharmacy chain, such as Walgreen's, for $30.
“We have to believe they're acquiring these pills at Planned Parenthood for dollars,” Brown concludes, “and yet they charge for a pill abortion anywhere from $580 to $800, up to $1,000 or more.”
Not only is the abortion clinic reaping a huge profit, Diller has pointed out women can get the chemical abortion pill without ever setting foot in the clinic. So that eliminates staff time and overhead costs, and adds to the profit margin.
So the question being asked is if Planned Parenthood, the beloved champion of abortion supporters, is greedily engaged in price gouging when it claims it cares about women.
According to Brown, no one should be surprised the abortion industry that profits from killing unborn children is greedily making more money by overcharging for the more convenient abortion pill that is dangerous to women.
“It is evil,” he warns. “And I guess it's an expected evolution in just the mudslide that is our current moral state in this country, led by the devil himself, who champions Planned Parenthood.”
