A pro-lifer doesn't think liberals in Colorado are done pushing for the legalization of abortion to the full limit.

As predicted, the Colorado Legislature has passed a bill to permit abortion until birth and to deny any protection or rights for the babies. Giuliana Day of Life Decisions says the lawmakers chose to ignore the 300+ people who testified against the bill.

"There were about 50 people from the other side," Day details about the Senate. "In the House it was the same thing; approximately 350 people testified against this bill, and there were about 40 or 50 from the other side."

Still, the measure passed in both chambers, and Day does not expect legislators to stop there.

"This is not going to be the ultimate goal of that abortion industry in Colorado; it's not going to be just to make it a state law," the pro-lifer suggests. "I really believe that what they want to do is to pass a constitutional amendment and have it in the Colorado Constitution."

That, she says, would enshrine unlimited abortion in the law and make it difficult to later remove it from the Constitution. But Day is not discouraged and says pro-lifers are well organized and ready to fight against it.
