The pro-life group Planned Parenthood Exposed has been fighting plans for a Planned Parenthood in Kansas City, and has been successful so far, but a building under renovation raised their suspicions.
Ron Kelsey, a spokesman for the group, credits a fellow pro-life activist who performed some Internet sleuthing and learned a corporation, Health Tech Initiatives, LLC is connected to Planned Parenthood.
Health Tech build an abortion clinic in Edmond, Oklahoma, then turned it over to a Planned Parenthood chapter.
Health Tech owns the building in Kansas City, too, so pro-life activists have figured out the plan and are lining up with their signs in front of the building. The response to the protest, Kelsey says, has been positive.
“And so we're getting a lot of honks and waves as people go by,” he says, “but we're drawing attention to it and that's important in this early stage of the battle against Planned Parenthood.”
