Texas' new heartbeat law prohibiting the abortion of any baby whose heartbeat can be detected is already saving lives. Kyleen Wright of the Texans for Life Coalition believes recent Rasmussen findings that 46% of poll respondents agree with the law and 43% oppose it ought to send a message to corporations that heavily support abortion, including Planned Parenthood.
"Nobody wants to hear from corporate America on every issue," Wright begins. "With the divide the way it is, they're just risking losing an awful lot of their clients if they succumb to the pressure of the left and stand with big abortion on this."
Wright adds that the high quality of 4G sonograms has been a game-changer in educating the public on life in the womb.
"When you look now at the young people of today, every one of them, that's the first picture in their baby book -- a sonogram picture," the pro-lifer submits. "So, it has really opened the window to the womb and been a total game-changer."
Wright says the poll results showing a plurality support for the heartbeat measure should serve as added motivation for pro-life groups, who have seen increasing support for the life issue for years.
