The head of a messianic Jewish ministry predicts Israel will have no choice but to launch a strike against Iran's nuclear facilities in 2022.

As world powers negotiate a new nuclear deal with Iran, Jake Sullivan, the White House's national security advisor, recently announced that the United States and Israel need a "common strategy." Israel has been critical of the attempts to reach a new deal with Iran, saying the international community is giving in to "nuclear blackmail." The country's leaders also say any new agreement must make improvements over the original deal and that the talks must be accompanied by a "credible" threat by the U.S. to use military force against Iran if necessary.

Meanwhile, the incoming Israeli Air Force commander tells an Israeli publication that his country is capable of attacking Iran tomorrow and destroying its nuclear facilities.

"There is no situation in which we operate there and I don't come home and say, 'I carried out the mission,'" Major General Tomer Bar said.

"I personally believe that sometime in 2022 there's going to be an Israel strike on Iran," Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, tells American Family News. "And Israel will do this alone. Certainly there's no nation going to be a part of this, starting with America."

In fact, she even expects the Biden administration to favor the enemy, "as did the Obama regime."

"I would expect this administration to be turning its back on Israel. It's just what leftists do," Markell laments. "So I anticipate the worst."

She adds, however, that things are playing out as the Bible said they would. So from that standpoint, Markell asserts, "God has things under control."
