Why should God bless those who openly insult him?

A former military chaplain is appalled that an Air Force installation would allow and condone a "drag show."

Nellis Air Base in Nevada recently announced that the 99th Air Base Wing hosted its first-ever drag show on June 17th at the Nellis Club. The event was sponsored by a private organization and was said to have provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the history and significance of drag performance art within the LGBT+ community.

Former Navy Chaplain Dr. Gordon Klingenschmitt, who now runs the Pray In Jesus Name project, calls it extremely demeaning to women.

"We have men dressing as women, mocking them, impersonating them -- all in the name of sexual liberation," he laments. "Really, it's just inappropriate, and it hurts good order and discipline and hurts the morale and the privacy and safety of our female officers and enlisted force, especially in the Air Force."

And Klingenschmitt does not believe this sort of behavior is sitting well with God.

"We can have little expectation of the blessing of God on our troops," the former chaplain submits. "It's really going to hurt our ability to fight and win wars. We're going to end up losing wars if we lose the blessing of God and insult him [by] encouraging open sexual defiance of God's law."

Klingenschmitt is also appalled that the Biden administration is diverting nearly $2 billion from important medical treatment for veterans to instead pay for transgender mutilation surgeries.

In order to appease the radical LGBT lobby, Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough recently announced that the VA would get the regulatory ball rolling on conducting transgender surgeries for veterans in taxpayer-funded hospitals, basically reinstating the Obama administration policy that was halted by President Trump.

Klingenschmitt calls it a staggering waste of money.

"Transgender surgeries are body mutilation surgeries given to people who are confused," he explains. "And now that Biden is forcing this upon the Veterans Administration, $1.7 billion they are going to waste and divert away from veterans' healthcare. Biden is stealing from otherwise needy veterans to fund this political boondoggle, and it's going to hurt the health of veterans who get the real care cut because of his LGBT agenda."

The former chaplain predicts some people will now join the military just to get their mutilations done on the taxpayer dime.

"This is scam," he insists. "It's a way for the LGBT movement to get free government handouts, and it's going to hurt our armed services and divert money away from our veterans who have earned the right by serving our country."
