As radical Muslims work to impose Sharia law on American citizens, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government met this week to talk about a "Sharia-Free America: Why Political Islam & Sharia Law are Incompatible with the U.S. Constitution."
"We have an organized effort by the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) and affiliate groups and organizations that are dedicated to the task, in their own words, of waging jihad against Western civilization," Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), who chairs the committee, told "Washington Watch."
He warned that U.S. immigration policies are inviting the jihadists into the country.
"You've got an organized effort to go to war with our way of life through funding of groups that are pushing Islam as a political ideology," Rep. Roy said.
Amy Mekelburg of the RAIR Foundation USA (Rise • Align • Ignite • Reclaim) testified to the committee on Wednesday that Islam is a hostile, totalitarian political ideology that is using our freedoms to destroy us; Muslims are building parallel Islamic societies that reject assimilation while their adherents capture U.S. institutions.
"These networks operate more than 8,000 Islamic non-profits across America, including 650 in Texas alone," Mekelburg reported. "Texas and Florida are the Brotherhood's command centers."
Meanwhile, she said the little Muslim American girls born under the U.S. Constitution never know any of the sacred rights our forefathers fought and died to give them.
"If she is beaten, it is her fault," Mekelburg asserted. "If she is raped, no American courthouse will hear her screams. If she is married off as a child to a pedophile, she will never know it is a crime."
"It does not stop until every court, every school and every government on earth is under Sharia," Mekelburg warned.
She started her grassroots activist and investigative journalism organization to "reclaim our republic from the network of individuals and organizations waging war on our nation," including our Constitution, our borders and our Judeo-Christian values.
