But viewers have a choice in their halftime entertainment.
Bad Bunny (shown above) will be presented by the National Football League (NFL), which has been on a run of edgy pop stars and rappers the last few years.
That streak continues with Bad Bunny, a Latin artist who is known for cross dressing and for so-called “Trap music,” a genre you're most likely to identify by the thumping bass that's way too loud, even though it's coming from the low-rider sitting next to you at a stoplight.
If all that is too much for you, Turning Point USA is offering an alternative that Monica Cole of OneMillionMoms.com says is more tailored to the values of the game’s fans of faith.
“The All-American Halftime Show will be live-streamed during the Super Bowl halftime show instead to give families an option that is safe for all ages and is going to be focused on faith, family, and freedom,” she said.
The Super Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. ET. It will air on NBC.
Cole says TPUSA is holding the details close to the vest but she's confident it will be a great show.
“We know that Charlie Kirk was extremely conservative. His widow Erika Kirk is the one who is putting this on and organizing it. We know they're going to put on a great show, and it should be safe for all ages to watch.”
You can find details at OneMillionMoms.com, where you'll also have the opportunity to send a message to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
“So we're asking listeners to go to onemillionmoms.com to sign our petition letting the NFL know that you will not be tuning in and watching their inappropriate halftime show, but instead we'll stream the All-American Halftime Show.”
