The Planned Parenthood abortion business just released its annual report for 2025. According to Life News, the big takeaway is that it killed a record number of babies through abortions: 434,450.
Steven Ertelt, editor of Life News, added that is an 8% increase from the previous year.
"The numbers in the report show that there's less and less legitimate women's healthcare. It's more abortions. That's what they're selling. It's what they make money on,” Ertelt says.
The more babies that they can kill, he emphasizes, the more money they make.
“And the unfortunate news for us is, as you know, Dobbs has happened, states are protecting babies from abortions. The unfortunate news is that Planned Parenthood continues to kill more and more unborn children,” Ertelt states.
He points to the abortion pill as one big reason.
"We're seeing that Planned Parenthood — even though they are closing abortion centers across the country — they're selling more and more with these dangerous abortion pills that, of course, are killing babies but they're also hurting women in the process as well,” Ertelt states. “And so, more women are going to the ER. They're suffering from medical issues and problems associated with this."
In April 2025, the Ethics and Public Policy Center (EPPC) examined insurance data and found that 1 in 10 women experience a "severe adverse event" after taking the abortion pill.
Supporters of abortion have dismissed the study. If one were to ask Ertelt, Planned Parenthood does not care.
"They are continuing to make bank, ending the lives of unborn children," Ertelt says.
The study also mentions that Planned Parenthood received $832 million in taxpayer funding for 2024-2025. This is a 5% increase than the previous year, covering the fiscal year and not including federal defunding.
Hugh Brown, vice president from American Life League, stated that the abortion company’s “reign of death and destruction” actually increased despite it whining that it lost tax dollars.
