"The abortion pill reversal is real," Joseph Parker, Director of Outreach and Intercession at American Family Association (AFA). "It's been out a long time, and it's helped to save a lot of babies."
As explained by Live Action, the mechanism of abortion pill reversal is essentially the same mechanism often used to prevent miscarriage… the hormone progesterone. Only in this case, it's aimed at reversing the effects of the abortion pill regimen.

"If a woman decides after taking the first of the two drugs in the regimen (mifepristone) that she doesn't want to go through with the abortion process, she may be able to try abortion pill reversal," says Live Action on a webpage devoted to abortion pill reversal.
The window in which a woman can change her mind and try the abortion pill reversal is limited to around 72 hours after she's taken the abortion pill. That, says Parker, is how the Church can be more involved.
"If a young woman comes to, say, a grandma in the Church and she doesn't know anything about abortion pill reversal, the grandmother may say 'well I'm sorry baby, there's nothing I could do,'" says Parker, host of American Family Radio (AFR)'s "Hour of Intercession" program.
But if the grandma is informed, she could save a life.
"If she knows about it and simply can share the hotline with this young lady, the Lord could use this young grandma to save that baby and maybe other babies as well."
The hotline is 1-877-558-0333.
