Kimberlyn Schwartz of Texas Right to Life says New Jersey and its governor, Phil Murphy (D), is trying to lure in doctors who want to be free to "commit abortions."

"The Murphy administration is committed to protecting reproductive freedom while bolstering access to reproductive health care," a statement reads on the website for Choose New Jersey.
The campaign includes a website, but there are also billboards placed near major university hospitals and medical schools in Houston and Dallas in an effort to reach medical students, residents, and practitioners.
KERA News, NPR for North Texas, reports that Garden State officials pushed similar initiatives in Southern states in 2022, when Texas' near-total abortion ban took effect.
"States are saying, 'Abortion is so important' and 'abortion should be so important to you that you should leave your state and come to our state so you can continue killing preborn babies,'" Schwartz summarizes. "That's just wrong."
"Trying to convince Texans to leave Texas is a pretty uphill and foolish battle," the pro-lifer adds. "But I wouldn't expect New Jersey to understand that."
She calls this campaign "absolutely immoral."
