As the Kamala Harris abortion tour continues, pro-life leaders hope voters understand just how extreme the presidential contender is.

The vice president and presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee was in Milwaukee Tuesday, where she spent a lot of time on the issue of abortion.

"We who believe in reproductive freedom will stop Donald Trump's extreme abortion bans, because we trust women to make decisions about their bodies," Harris told cheering rallygoers. "When Congress passes a law to restore reproductive freedoms, as president, I will sign it into law."

Pritchard, Kelsey (SBA Pro-Life America) Pritchard

Kelsey Pritchard of Women Speak Out PAC, a Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America partner amplifying the voices of women opposed to abortion extremists in Congress, says that is a big move from the Democrats' "safe, legal, and rare" mindset of the 1900s.

"While Joe Biden would not at times even bring himself to say the word abortion, Kamala shouts abortion," Pritchard observes. "She is a 'shout your abortion' candidate."

Her record as vice president backs up the pro-lifer's claim that Harris "has essentially been Biden's abortion czar." And considering that Harris became the first sitting vice president to campaign at an abortion business in March, Pritchard is not surprised to see her back on the trail for the cause.

She voted against born alive protections and states' rights when she was a senator, she is an original sponsor of the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA), which bans states from having pro-life laws and mandates all trimester abortions all throughout the United States, and she has a history of targeting pro-lifers.

Kristi Hamrick of Students for Life Action details that in 2016, when she was attorney general in California, Harris went after David Daleiden to criminalize his research into the baby body part scheme from which Planned Parenthood was making money. Instead of prosecuting the abortion provider for its illegal activity, she prosecuted the pro-life activist for exposing it -- an issue which led to hearings in the U.S. House.

"She is running around the country screaming her support for abortion as her one and only accomplishment and has been at the head of an administration that hasn't been about codifying Roe, which would be bad; it has been about ending conscience rights, about ending states' abilities to pass laws," Hamrick submits. "It's been about throwing peaceful pro-life praying grandmothers into federal prison."

"Vice President Harris is radically pro-abortion," Hamrick adds. "She is not pro-choice, because that would not go far enough."

In the words of the National Right to Life Committee's Carol Tobias, Harris is not merely pro-choice; she is 100% pro-abortion.

Tobias, Carol (NRLC) Tobias

"Her true position, even though they try to mask it, would say that abortion should be allowed for any reason for all nine months of pregnancy," Tobias says.

Pointing to Harris's background and comments on the issue, Tobias urges voters to understand the seriousness of this election.

"It doesn't matter where your state is right now; we have to be talking to our neighbors, our friends, our family members," Tobias contends. "We have to be doing everything we can to make sure our pro-life friends, neighbors, and family members are voting … for pro-life candidates."

Pritchard would also encourage voters to be aware of just how pro-abortion Harris is and how having her as president would affect the nation.

"We can't let up on the gas pedal now," Pritchard asserts. "We need to continue to fight, and we need to fight harder than we ever have before by being willing to vote and give our time and talk to those we know about the issue."
