The pro-life movement is watching Big Abortion make big plans in the Midwest to kill more unborn babies.

Pro-life activists have learned Planned Parenthood is opening a new abortion clinic in Pittsburgh, Kansas, a small town of 20,600, because the town is located just five miles from the Missouri state line.

That new clinic location means the abortion industry is moving near pro-life Missouri and about 80 miles from pro-life Arkansas.

David Cox, of the Family Council of Arkansas, tells AFN approximately 400 women traveled from Arkansas to Kansas City to terminate their unborn child last year.

“Right now the closest abortion facilities to Arkansas are in the Kansas City area,” he advises. “This new abortion center is going to be about 100 to 150 miles closer to  Arkansas.”

In a May 14 press release, Planned Parenthood said it has received "overwhelming support" from Kansans for its new "health center" in Pittsburgh, Kansas.

Planned Parenthood’s expansion plan, Cox says, is best described as a regional abortion clinic that targets neighboring pro-life states.
