The president's spending plan for 2025 will have taxpayers footing the bill for child termination.

Congress recently staved off a halt of government services with a stopgap spending measure allowing lawmakers more time to finish work on long-term spending bills, but they still must settle the overall budget.

Emily Davis of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America says the Biden administration's proposal shows the president's priority is all-trimester abortions with no limits – and at taxpayers' expense.

"The hypocrisy is on display right now as we look at his new budget proposal," she insists. "President Biden and his administration removed the Hyde Amendment. This is the amendment that has been law and renewed every year on a bipartisan basis since 1976."

That measure has protected babies and mothers for more than 40 years by forbidding the federal government from using tax dollars to finance abortion. In fact, an estimated 2.5 million Americans are alive today because of it.

"He's also proposing to remove the Dornan Amendment ('D.C. Hyde')," Davis continues. "This is a lesser-known amendment, but this is very important. Without this, this means that President Biden is having the American people fund abortions in D.C."

So if Biden has his way, taxpayers all across America will finance abortion in the nation's capital city, where abortion is on demand through all nine months of pregnancy.

Meanwhile, polls continue to show the vast majority of Americans (nearly seven in 10) support significant limits on abortion. Davis' organization says those individuals need to urge their congressional delegation in Washington to reinstate the amendments.
