A pro-lifer says abortion supporters had nothing to celebrate on "International Safe Abortion Day."

This year, the World Health Organization (WHO) joined other groups in recognizing September 28th as the oxymoronically labeled awareness day. While the aim was supposedly to promote how "safe" it is to end another human's life, Hugh Brown and the American Life League draws attention to the simple truth that at least one person dies in every successful abortion.

Brown, Hugh (ALL) Brown

"A safe abortion means somehow that a woman comes out of an abortion safely; she comes out of an abortion as the mother of a dead child," he summarizes. "There's nothing safe about it. You have a dead child; you have a woman scarred for life."

It is estimated that more than 65 million babies have been killed in abortions since 1973, but Brown thinks that is "miniscule" to the true number of abortion-related deaths. He does not trust anything from what he calls the "demonically possessed" who are "obsessed at a bare minimum with death and murder and this whole nonsense that there's too many people on this planet."

"Those that promote death do not report the truth. We can't ask the devil to tell us the truth," the pro-lifer submits. "[That figure] surely doesn't include people that go home and then have complications."

Again considering the truth of what abortion is and does, Brown concludes, "It's a horrible, horrible state that we live in, and we've just got to keep fighting the good fight and telling the truth."

Chemical abortions alone – which now account for more than half of abortions – have sent over 4,000 women in America to hospital emergency rooms, and at least 28 women have died from complications.
