A spokeswoman for an annual luncheon honoring national pro-life organizations for the impact they're making for life says this year's event was and is inspiring.

$100,000 was awarded to six organizations at the recent 2022 National Prayer Luncheon for Life after more than 13,000 people throughout the nation voted to determine the winners.

Spokeswoman Karen Garnett says the Pro-Life Action League, ProLove Ministries, and Support After Abortion each received $5,000 impact awards, and the Radiance Foundation was awarded a $15,000 grant.

"The $20,000 pro-life impact award was received by Amy Ford, the president of Embrace Grace, and then the award and the $50,000 pro-life impact grant was received by Kimberly Bird, representing President Lila Rose of Live Action," Garnett details.

She says the prayer luncheon continues to inspired audiences.

"We were just so full of joy; it was a very joyful event," Garnett accounts. "The replay is available to watch on our website … as well as on our Facebook page, and people have even told us even watching the replay, not having experienced it at the moment it was happening in person, they're just so inspired."

The event's annual date, March 25th, was intentionally chosen because nine months later, the Christian world celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ.
