A champion for human dignity is asking Christians to reserve some time Sunday for a special event.

On Sunday, November 28, Family Research Council (FRC) is hosting Pray Together for Life to join people throughout the country in prayer for a renewal of the support for life, including for the unborn.

Szoch, Mary (FRC) Szoch

Mary Szoch, director of FRC's Center for Human Dignity, says they will also pray for a Supreme Court case that could overturn the Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion nationally.

"This event will be in anticipation of the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health," Szoch continues. "We're uniting in prayer for wisdom for the justices, for the solicitor general who is arguing the case, the solicitor general of Mississippi, [and] for the attorney general and her team as they prepare him for the case."

New Horizon Church in Jackson, Mississippi (details here) is hosting the online event.

"There are people from every denomination across the country who are joining us," the pro-lifer reports. "It's truly just a gathering of people of faith all coming together to ask God to renew a respect for life in America."

If the judges in a ruling to be released next year overturn the 1973 decision, it will simply mean the authority over abortion will be in the hands of the states, not that abortion will be illegal.
