Pro-life groups are calling attention to politicians in Washington who do little or nothing to protect innocent human life.

Susan B. Anthony List spokeswoman Prudence Robertson says her organization has partnered with the Women Speak Out PAC (political action committee) in a campaign targeting 20 vulnerable Democrats.

"This #Terrible20 group is a group of both House and Senate members who refuse to support the Hyde Amendment, which is popular bipartisan legislation that stops taxpayer funding of abortion, and it's saved millions of unborn American lives," Robertson explains.

She says Senators Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ), who recently voted against commonsense pro-life policies like the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and the Protecting Individuals With Down Syndrome Act, are at the top of the list.

The campaign began earlier this month with a digital ad and grassroots phone call campaign. It includes a three-state press tour and aims to inform constituents and encourage them to contact their congressional representatives' local offices about the issue and ultimately defeat the abortion agenda in Congress.

"We think it's crucial right now that their constituents know where they stand on this issue, and it's our job to expose their extremism," Robertson tells American Family News.

All 20 Democrats targeted in the campaign are up for re-election next year.
