The loser of the 2024 election, former Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, spoke in Nashville on Friday on whether she planned to run in 2028. She said that she has yet to decide and is "fully and sincerely focused on the midterms."
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York), otherwise known as AOC, seemed shocked on the Majority Report with Sam Seder regarding the latest polling data for the Democrats in 2028.
Polling data obtained by Fox News shows AOC at the top of the list with 22% support. One of the more shocking revelations is Harris in sixth place, with only 5% support.
Fox News spoke with Antjuan Seawright, Democratic strategist, and Tim Parrish, Republican strategist, to see how.
Seawright went on Fox News to dismiss any claims of chaos inside the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
“When you get downstream, and you get off K Street, and you focus on Main Street and my street where elections are won, not too many people care about what's happening at the DNC,” Seawright said.
Parrish, an ambassador for Project 21, seemed to disagree with Seawright, saying that Democrats putting AOC on the ballot in 2028 would be an "answered prayer."
“My prayer is that she is the candidate because that would be a great day for the Republican Party and for America, in my opinion,” Parrish said.
The GOP poll came back showing 36% support for Vice President J.D. Vance and 26% support for Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Parrish expressed confidence that both men were fit to lead the nation.
“I will tell you that both of them are imminently qualified gentlemen who are, I think, ready to serve as president of the United States on day one,” Parrish said.
Other races to look out for is the midterms for the Senate and the House of Representatives. AFN reported previously about the likelihood of the Democratic Party winning seats and flipping both houses.
