Susan Rice, who held several government positions under former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, threatened legal action against Trump supporters on attorney Preet Baraha's podcast. Conservative commentator Western Lensman highlighted on X her threats to supporters of President Donald Trump, saying that “there will be an accountability agenda” and “this is not going to be an instance of forgive and forget.”
Lensman also included a video clip from the podcast.
“When it comes to the elites, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media, it's not going to end well for them, for those that take a knee to Trump,” stated Rice. “They better preserve their documents. They better be ready for subpoenas.”
She says that all they are waiting for are the reins of power.
“They're going to be held accountable by those who come in opposition to Trump and win at the ballot box,” said Rice.
AFR talk host Jenna Ellis says they have proven that they will have no second thoughts about misusing the courts as a tool for political revenge.
“Clearly, the Democrats have proven — even through the Biden administration — that they're fully willing to carry out lawfare,” says Ellis.
Furthermore, Rice said that, when Democrats get in office, they will play by the law, claiming that Republicans have been violating it.
Former Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino is the conservative host of The Dan Bongino Show podcast. He says that there is nothing Democrats can point to that is actually illegal.
“What, she's upset about us exposing Arctic Frost? That's what their administration did. This is all legal. It's not the stuff you guys did,” says Bongino.
Arctic Frost is the code name of the improper FBI investigation under the Biden administration that targeted Republicans, Trump, and his allies after the 2020 election.
Bongino states that revenge-minded Democrats have it exactly backwards.
“I love how they break the law, we go and enforce the law, and then they say, ‘When we get in office, we're going to punish you for enforcing the law’,” says Bongino.
