Walz (shown on campaign trail with Kamala Harris above) has received a great deal of blowback after expressing this opinion during an event put on by the far-left Center for American Progress.
"Who holds the moral authority? Who holds the ability to do that? And I mean consistently, over and over again, we're going to have to face the reality … it might be the Chinese."
That's right. The country that is stealing U.S. tech, spying on military bases, supporting unrest on American campuses and whose No. 1 priority is bringing the U.S. to its knees is the beacon of morality in the world.
Gary Bauer of American Values is so unimpressed with the man who likely would have been seen as the intellectual leader of a Harris/Walz administration had last November's election turned out differently.
“Tim Walz just seems to be intent every day to prove that he is a complete nincompoop,” said Bauer, who noted Walz’ long history as a friend of Communist China.
“How many Americans have made 20 trips to communist China? Why are there Chinese influence operations in Minnesota, and there are multiple photographs of him posing with people that are involved with those operations?”
Last fall the House Oversight Committee raised questions about Walz' China connections.
Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries and host of Understanding the Times on American Family Radio, says Minnesotans know where Walz stands.
"Righteous Minnesotans know it's very obvious that Tim Walz is a communist. He's pro Chinese and he's promoting everything China. It was obviously given away with his comment. So righteous Minnesotans are outraged. Quite frankly, righteous Minnesotans are fleeing the state like they're fleeing California, because you cannot deal with communist tyrants who are the head of anything. And he could have been Vice President of the United States."
Walz 2028? Never say never
And Markell says don't dismiss the possibility of a Walz 2028 presidential run.
“We should never say never because it's certainly possible,, and then you've got rigged elections on top of that. So, I think anything could happen. I think it would be God's mercy if he spared anybody from this guy. Believe me, as a Minnesotan, I can tell you this state is not recognizable any longer. It is simply not. Its leftist politics have completely upended the state and will upend the country."
Bauer says Walz is unknowingly – or knowingly – doing the bidding of Chairman Xi.
“I think the guy is either naive or what Stalin used to call a useful idiot, that is somebody in the West that is just plain dumb.”
