Who was really running things?

With all the talk about former President Joe Biden's mental state, an energy advocacy organization wants Congress to investigate the validity of his signatures.

Larry Behrens of Power The Future says they looked at Biden's executive orders as they dealt with climate or energy and found at least eight with a pretty significant impact.

"Yet Joe Biden never personally spoke about them," Behrens notes. "He never referenced them in speeches; he never touted them personally. So, it makes us wonder –  did Joe Biden even sign these documents, or was he even aware of it?"

In 2024, for example, Biden told House Speaker Mike Johnson that he did not sign an executive order stopping the export of American liquefied natural gas, though he had.

"He wasn't even aware that his own administration had done this momentous, terrible action, and so it calls into question: what did Joe Biden know, and what didn't he know?" says Behrens.

"It also causes the need for investigation," he adds.

He reasons that someone inserted those documents into an autopen, and they did it on the orders of somebody, who may have done it on the orders of somebody else.

"Where exactly did these orders come from?" Power The Future wants to know. "Who was really running things at the White House?"

With the release of its "bombshell report," Behrens' organization is calling for congressional oversight and a full investigation into the authorship and intent behind Biden's executive actions.
