Pekoske's firing is likely related to Tulsa Gabbard being put on the "Quiet Skies" watchlist, which she learned about from an air marshal whistleblower.

President Trump has arrived at Capitol One Arena for the 60th presidential inauguration parade. Those scheduled to participate include a high school marching band from Middletown, Ohio, Vice President J.D. Vance's hometown.
Abortion website goes away
A Biden administration website about information on "reproductive health care" is no longer available. It now shows an error message, according to Fox News. The website was created in 2022 after the Dobbs abortion ruling.
Gender 'x' on passport no more
Some of the executive orders that President Trump plans to sign Monday will target and roll back radical gender ideology, unnamed Trump officials tell Fox News. References to "gender" will be changed to "sex," and a passport option to choose "X" will be rescinded.
During his inauguration speech, Trump remarked that there are "only two genders," referring to male and female sexes.

Trump drew a standing ovation from everyone in the rotunda except Biden, Harris, and the small band of Democrats around them when he introduced one executive order he’ll sign quickly.
“I will sign an executive order to immediately stop all government censorship and bring back free speech to America,” he said.

Trump detailed the weaponization of the Department of Justice against him, calling it “vile,” and said weaponization will end.
While he spoke at length of his many goals and the things he says his administration will accomplish, he added “we must acknowledge the challenges that we face.”
He summarized Biden’s foreign policy, protection of illegals and the various sanctuary cities across the country. He mentioned Biden’s management of domestic crises, criticizing federal response recently in North Carolina and Los Angeles.
He mentioned healthcare and education, saying specifically of education, “Our education system teaches children to be ashamed of themselves and to hate our country in spite of the love we try to provide them.”
“From this moment on, America’s decline is over,” he said.

His eyes were mostly closed as Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Franklin Graham each delivered the invocation.
Dolan referenced generals George Washington and George Patton for their references to the Creator during dangerous times for America.
Graham, addressing Trump, voiced the thoughts of many Americans during the Biden presidency.
“Mr. President, the last four years I’m sure you thought were pretty dark, but look what God has done. We praise him and give him glory.”
Trump, eyes closed, nodded when Graham mentioned First Lady Melania Trump during the prayer.

The two Christian hymns being played in the rotunda day include “For the Beauty of the Earth” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” Christine Niles reports.

Inauguration ceremonies are different with no parade and official ceremonies taking place indoors.
But those lucky enough to be inside Capital One Arena will be able to watch laws change in real time.
Trump will go into a side room following his inauguration ceremony at the Capitol.

U.S. troops ready for border assignment, 10:42 a.m.
As promised, the border will be a central focus of Trump’s quickest executive orders.
Fox News has reported the president will deploy U.S. troops to the southern border and will designate international cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
Those are just two of what is expected to be almost a dozen executive orders aimed specifically at correcting Joe Biden’s years of border neglect.
In addition, Trump will order that border wall construction resume immediately, and the Remain in Mexico policy for hopeful immigrants will be reinstated, Fox News reports.
As troops prepare for border duty, the Secretary of Defense will be required to provide a Unified Command Plan, and military resources will work alongside federal intelligence-gathering services “to ensure seamless operations and maximum effectiveness,” a fact sheet on the coming order states.

As he has said all along as president-elect, he's expected to hit the ground running.
Trump, shown at right with his Vice President pick J.D. Vance, is expected to sign more than 200 executive orders today, according to Fox News.
Among the orders will be those addressing border security, energy, reducing inflation and the cost of living and ending Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
In exclusive coverage, Fox News reported Sunday that Trump orders will end “Catch and Release,” pause all offshore wind leases, terminate the electric vehicle mandate, abolish the Green New Deal, withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.
Bill Melugin, a Fox correspondent known for his immigration stories, says Trump will sign 11 border-related executive orders today. One of those will send U.S. troops to the southern border.
It does not appear that Trump will be signing more than 200 individual orders. Instead, the new laws will be presented “omnibus” style, Fox News reported.
