California conservative sees accountability coming for Democrats

A California-based conservative activist and political analyst believes political accountability is coming to the Golden State.

As the fire crisis continues to decimate property in California, Gov. Gavin Newsom (shown above) and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (shown right) continue to shirk responsibility for the catastrophe. Citizens in the beleaguered area are calling for recalls of both Democrats.

Kevin McGary is Chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation of California.

"This has to have been a Leftist, Marxist Democrat plot from the powers that be, from the governor on down to the mayor on down to the fire chief in Los Angeles. And because of that, a lot of the people that had voted these people in office are really thinking long and hard, and a lot of them are walking away completely from Democrats. They're ready to recall both the governor and the mayor."

McGary says the citizens are also hoping that there are changes within the Fire Department so the DEI hires can get out of there as well.

"So, we see a lot of disruption coming out of this entire scenario, and I think on balance, while the loss of life and loss of property and loss of family legacy and income and all of that is a part of this whole scenario, on balance, when it comes to the political calculation strictly, I think that there's a lot more people that'll be off that Democratic plantation to be moving on to freedom and looking more intently at their elected officials as they actually pull the lever going forward."
