A conservative activist and political pundit thinks President Biden should've been charged for knowingly and willfully mishandling classified documents.

Former Special Counsel Robert Hur delivered a "slam-dunk case" of Espionage Act violations against President Joe Biden when he testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. Though he concluded that the president should not face charges related to the "willful retention and disclosure" of classified material, he insists he did not exonerate Joe Biden.

Gary Bauer, chairman of the Campaign for Working Families, was impressed with Hur's performance.

"I was glad to see the Democrats so frustrated as they tried to promote the lie," he comments. "Almost every Democrat member of the committee kept using the same words, that Hur had exonerated President Biden. And no matter how many times Hur said, 'I did not exonerate President Biden,' each Democrat congressman repeated the same baseless lie."

He thinks Hur stuck to his ground and made it clear that he did no such thing. Still, Bauer is frustrated with the judge's decision not to charge Biden.

"When you listen to the evidence that Hur presented, I still don't understand why he did not bring charges," he tells AFN. "The notion that he expressed, that President Biden would come across in a trial as a sympathetic figure, just doesn't cut it for me. We shouldn't be worrying ahead of time of how a jury would respond to President Biden."

Bauer says this is just another example of the two standards of justice in this country.
