Former President Donald Trump is the latest to join the list of Republican presidential candidates scheduled to speak at a parental rights group's upcoming conference.

Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice says it is an honor to have Trump attending the Joyful Warriors National Summit this year.

"President Trump has been vocal in supporting parental rights, particularly as he creates his policies for the upcoming campaign," Justice notes. "We are excited for our parents to more fully understand the role parental rights will play in the upcoming election."

As of Monday, June 5, 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Florida), former Governor Nikki Haley (R-South Carolina), and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will also be at the summit.

"Philadelphia is The Cradle of Liberty," Moms for Liberty co-founder Tina Descovich says about the event's host city. "It is where the Declaration was drafted and read and signed; it's where the constitutional convention happened. There is so much history and roots in Philadelphia related to all of the challenges and things we are facing today."

She recognizes that many people do not want to go to the summit because it means giving money to a city they think is too far gone.

"That's a really unfortunate way of looking at things," Descovich submits. "We are not going to cede the ground of Philadelphia, where our nation was born, where liberty was born. We are going to go and stake our claim in Philadelphia and appreciate all the history and richness there."

The summit is scheduled for June 29 - July 2.
