Rios recalls story about outing 'Swamp' right in front of Trump

The radio audience on American Family Radio heard a first-hand account of Donald Trump and the “Swamp” that opposed him thanks to someone who was in the Oval Office and witnessed it.

On the weekday “Today’s Issues” program, AFR talk show host Sandy Rios recalled the time when she and other conservative activists met Trump at the White House.

“One of our big reasons for meeting with him,” Rios recalled, “was to make him aware that there were people undermining him right there in the White House.”

The group came with proof – a literal list of names – and when Trump asked the inevitable question about who was undermining him, out came the list.

“One of our members said, Yes, he's right there,” Rios said, referring to a White House staffer who was sitting nearby witnessing this encounter. That person was “quite unhappy” about being outed by the group.

And how did President Trump respond?

According to Rios, he immediately understood the “intrigue” involved in the accusation, and what was likely just another meeting with another group for him turned into a “lively” conversation from that moment on, she said.
