Great Britain condemned what it called "Iran's reckless attacks" after the rogue regime's unsuccessful attempt to hit the joint strategic U.K.-U.S. military base on the island of Diego Garcia, reports Associated Press.
The island is located in the Indian Ocean some 2,500 miles from Iran. About 2,500 personnel, mostly American, are stationed on the island which has supported U.S. military operations from Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan.

AFN reported previously in February about how the U.K. that had originally prohibited U.S. use of Diego Garcia’s military base to carry out strikes against Iran. However, the U.K. allowed American bombers on the island and another British base to fire against Iran’s missile sites after the rogue regime began to attack neighboring countries.
The U.K. claims that the bases will only be used for “specific and limited defensive operations.” That did not stop Iran’s foreign minister from saying they are “putting British lives in danger by allowing U.K. bases to be used for aggression against Iran.”
Gordon Klingenschmitt is a former Air Force missile officer who now runs Pray In Jesus Name Project.
"The irony is that Iran's ballistic missile range is now confirmed at about 2,500 miles. Well, it's only 2,700 miles from Tehran to London. They're already proving that they have the ballistic missile range to be able to attack anywhere in Europe, anywhere within the range,” Klingenschmitt states.
He adds the Iranian ballistic missiles could eventually carry a nuclear-tipped warhead.
This is, he says, an international crisis.
"They were building perhaps 100 new ballistic missiles every month before President Trump stepped in. And had he not stepped in, they would have converted their 60% enriched uranium into 90% enriched uranium, which would be nuclear weapons capable,” Klingenschmitt states.
He says thank God that President Donald Trump took decisive action.
“Because it's in NATO's best interest, it's in Europe's best interest, and now Iran's capabilities are severely degraded," Klingenschmitt says.
