Conditions for the beleaguered citizens of Iran remain dire, as the radical Islamic regime continues to slaughter its own people.
Even though a huge U.S. armada is building up to potentially strike, Iran's military chief has reportedly threatened that "no American would be safe" if the U.S. strikes Iran.
So now the U.S. has agreed to meet with Iranian officials in Istanbul, Turkey for talks on a possible nuclear deal.
During commentary on his Fox News show Life, Liberty and Levin over the weekend, Constitutional attorney and best-selling author Mark Levin said Iran is turning into the North Korea of the Middle East.
"It's a police state that uses police forces, internal security and its military to stay in power and to control its people. They have death camps, torture prisons, murder people at will. It’s getting worse and worse and worse by the day, and it is turning into a countrywide concentration camp just like North Korea."
Whatever Iranian position emerges from diplomatic talks cannot be trusted, Levin said.
"Now, if we don't act, and by that I mean not diplomacy, but decisively, quickly and overwhelmingly with our military against the top of the regime, Khomeini and his cohorts in that circle … Iran will in fact build nuclear weapons, as North Korea has, despite dozens of agreements over the decades with Republican and Democrat presidents in which they pledged not to."
And Levin says they will not hesitate to launch ICBMs with nuclear warheads against our cities. He hopes Trump will act.
