Trump remains focused on woke military clean-up with dismissal of board members

A conservative military watchdog says that President Donald Trump made the right decision in dismissing members of a board that has pushed woke Leftist agenda on the nation's service academies.

One of Trump's many campaign promises was to rid the U.S. military of the oppressive radical woke agenda imposed by the Biden-controlled Pentagon.

So, Trump has announced that he is dismissing the Boards of Visitors for the Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard academies.

Each academy's Board of Visitors is tasked with influencing and maintaining the curriculum and culture at the schools.

Trump wrote in a social media post, "Our Service Academies have been infiltrated by woke Leftist Ideologues over the last four years. We will have the strongest Military in History, and that begins by appointing new individuals to these Boards. We must make the Military Academies GREAT AGAIN!"

Donnelly, Elaine Donnelly

Elaine Donnelly is president of the Center for Military Readiness. She says this move is entirely consistent with what Trump has set forth as his agenda to strengthen the military.

"And it does start with the people who educate these leaders of the military. That's what the service academies are for, and I think that the president will choose new people who have (in mind) the best interests of national defense and the men and women in the military."

Donnelly says some very controversial things have been going on at the various academies.

"DEI and CRT and all kinds of divisive programs have been endemic at all of the academies for several years. Nobody's done anything about it. So, I think President Trump is doing the right thing for the right reasons. It will be interesting to see who he selects to be on these boards."
