Walz 'does have a record'

A border enforcement advocacy organization says Tim Walz's border policies have been to accommodate illegal immigration and not to enforce our immigration laws.

When Kamala Harris tagged Gov. Walz as her vice-presidential running mate, it was clear that she wanted someone who shared her radical left-wing policies, including keeping a wide-open border so millions of illegals can continue to invade the U.S.

Ira Mehlman, media director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), says Walz started pandering to illegals during his time in the House of Representatives.

"He introduced bills that would have made it easier for illegal aliens to get into the country, to stay here, to request asylum without making any substantive case for why asylum is necessary," Mehlman lists. "He has been generally for mass immigration and against any kind of meaningful immigration enforcement."

As for Walz's record as governor of Minnesota, he has been in favor of things like granting drivers licenses to illegal aliens.

"So, he does have a record," Mehlman reiterates. "Generally speaking, it is to accommodate illegal immigration and not enforce our immigration laws."

More recently, Walz strongly supported the Senate "border security" bill that allows up to 5,000 encounters a day and does nothing to end mass catch-and-release, asylum abuse, or categorical parole programs.

FAIR submits that in picking Gov. Walz as her running mate, Kamala Harris is reinforcing her support for Biden's disastrous and illegal border policies.
