According to polls, the American public remains overwhelmingly opposed to the record-breaking illegal alien invasion, but that doesn’t seem to matter to the White House and the Biden administration.
There are new refugee processing centers, operated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, that are opening in Qatar and in Turkey to help process thousands of refugees.
Ira Mehlman, of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, says it is important to remember that a legally recognized refugee must be a victim of their own government’s abuse and persecution.
“There is no indication that that is happening in Gaza,” he points out. “And what's happening in Gaza is a war – a war that Hamas started."
The Hill reported in late April the Biden administration is considering resettling Palestinians into the U.S. if they have family members living here.
The number of Palestinians allowed into the U.S. through a U.S. refugee program is relatively small: fewer than 600 of 400,000 refugees over a 10-year span, the story said.
Mehlman points out Gaza’s neighbor Egypt has blatantly refused to accept refugees during the current war, and wealthy neighbors such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar have also turned their backs.
