A conservative activist is concerned about Joe Biden lowering the military's recruiting standards to alleviate the recruiting crisis.

As many young people do not want to deal with vaccine mandates and the woke training that the Biden Pentagon has foisted on service members, the military continues to face major recruiting challenges.

Now, for the first time under revamped rules, the Department of Defense has allowed 700 recruits diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder to join the military without a waiver -- if they have not suffered from other disorders or been treated with medication for ADHD within the previous three years.

During a recent appearance on American Family Radio, Gary Bauer, chairman of the Campaign for Working Families, voiced his concerns about this decision.

"These are idiotic policies," he stated. "These are policies that are harmful to the United States. They're making us weaker in a more and more dangerous world, so it's a huge problem."

Bauer is hoping for some congressional oversight when the Republicans take control of the House.

"We're in a dangerous time in our country, and I hope that the new House of Representatives will be able to at the very least slow some of this down," he told the radio program.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the Pentagon plans to assess the effectiveness of its new program in six months' time so that it has a year of data to study.
