According to Politico and several other sources, RFK Jr plans on replacing members of committees at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) that advise the federal government on vaccines.
His concern is twofold.
First, he wants to weed out any conflicts of interest among members of the committees.
Twila Brase, of the Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom, says some members of these committees may be enriching themselves through insider information, while others could be making sure that their corporation or industry or business interests are protected.
“A government committee is made up of individuals who have tried very hard to get onto that committee because they know that they can influence decisions,” Brase said.
That often leads to pressure from outside the committee.
“If the government approves them on the childhood vaccination schedule, that means that the government's going to fund them, the clinics are going to give them, and for the pharmaceutical companies, this is a huge financial win,” she said.
But some committee members may be open to that kind of approach.
Leading into the 2020 elections, some of the world’s biggest drugmakers and their trade groups wrote checks to 356 lawmakers and contributed roughly $11 million to various campaigns.
Four years later that spending increased to more than $16 million.

Secondly, Kennedy wants to look at the growing number of vaccines we're forcing on our kids and if there's a correlation to the number of health problems our kids are getting.
Around 40 percent of American children have a chronic health condition, CDC data shows.
“I think that RFK is trying to make sure that they are not getting those conditions because of all of the vaccinations that are taking place,” Brase said.
