They reportedly prioritize race-based care and DEI, gender ideology, and climate activism over patients.
"They seem to have hit the trifecta of including this woke mind virus into the way that they operate," says Will Hild, executive director of Consumers' Research.
One example his organization's Cleveland Clinic Exposed campaign revealed is the hospital's treatment of workers.

"Their DEI director has made it very clear that DEI is integrated into everything that they do," says Hild. "They signed onto a commitment to help create – quote, unquote – 'one million black jobs,' sustainable jobs, which is akin to a racial quota."
And with programs like Minority Stroke and their Minority Men's Health, they have racially discriminated against patients.
In 2024, Biden's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) opened an investigation into that – a probe The Washington Free Beacon described as "a rare effort by the Biden-Harris administration to police racial preferences."
Attorney Cara Tolliver of Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, which has represented over 60 clients in 23 states as part of its Equality Under the Law Project, viewed it as a "step forward to stamping out the use of unlawful racial stereotypes in healthcare" in favor of a legitimate, individualized approach to medicine.
"The second thing they do is engage in all kinds of costly virtue signaling around Net Zero commitments," Hild continues.
Net Zero is this idea of releasing zero carbon emissions, but he says achieving that by 2027 – or ever – is impossible for a hospital because those efforts will raise costs that are eventually passed on to consumers and insurers.
But Hild says the clinic's "most egregious and the most disgusting" work involves radical transgenderism, even for children.
"They have done hundreds of child sex change procedures and applied puberty blockers to children under the age of 18," he reports.
Based on the research of Do No Harm – which represents physicians, nurses, medical students, patients, and policymakers focused on keeping identity politics out of medical education, research, and clinical practice – Cleveland Clinic has been engaged in sex changes for "triple digits" of children.
Though Cleveland Clinic did not respond to AFN's request for comment, it did issue the following statement to Cleveland news outlet WKYC:
The recent Consumers' Research advertising campaign is riddled with inaccuracies and lies. For example, Cleveland Clinic does not provide gender-affirming surgeries for patients under the age of 18. For over 100 years, Cleveland Clinic's mission has been to care for life, research for health and educate those who serve. We do not discriminate or create preferences based on race, gender or any other characteristics, and we abide by ethical and legal standards of care with respect to our delivery of healthcare services. Cleveland Clinic is a nonpartisan organization and we neither have nor promote a political agenda.
Consumers' Research stands by its campaign.
