In letter to America, military vets vow 'accountability' is coming

Current and past military service members are demanding accountability for the harmful COVID-19 shot mandate imposed by the Department of Defense.

More than 230 active service members and veterans from all branches of the military have signed an open letter to the American people known as the "Declaration of Military Accountability.”

It pledges to hold military leaders accountable for the illegal conduct and harms caused by the Department of Defense's now-rescinded COVID-19 shot mandate.

The letter was published January 1, 2024.

Mat Staver is founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, the religious liberty law firm that has helped service members fight the COVID jab and demand religious accommodations.

“It notifies Americans,” he says of the letter, “that military leaders broke the law, trampled constitutional rights, suppressed the free exercise of religion, denied informed consent, permitted unwilling medical experimentation, and suppressed the free exercise of religion when implementing the COVID shot policies."

Staver and Liberty Counsel say the Department of Defense received approximately 36,500 religious accommodation requests and brazenly rejected almost all of them. Approximately 8,300 service members were involuntarily discharged from their military service for refusing to roll up a sleeve for the experimental vaccine.

Among those who took the shot to keep their jobs, Staver says many are suffering from medical complications, some have been permanently injured, and even some have died.
