WHO complains U.S. going 'backwards' after Dobbs ruling

It appears the World Health Organization is unhappy with the United States, in particular a Supreme Court ruling on abortion, but the bureaucratic, China-defending agency is getting criticized, too.

Claiming that women will be harmed, the controversial head of the WHO recently lashed out at the United States after the court overturned the 1973 ruling that legalized abortion.

“Restricting [abortion] drives women and girls toward unsafe abortions resulting in complications, even death,” Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus (pictured above) stated in a social media post.

Paul Stark of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life tells AFN nobody should be surprised at the reaction, since the UN body all but worships abortions.

“They've been promoting abortion quite a bit,” he says, “and pressuring countries around the world to legalize abortion or expand abortion, or make it more accessible.”

That is sad and troubling, he says, because the stated mission of the WHO is to fight against global health problems. Pregnancy is not a disease, however, and abortion is not a cure.

A second WHO official, a chief scientist, complained to reporters it was “unfortunate to see some countries going backwards.”
