Opt in for freedom and take a walk

A Christian legal firm reminds people that taking the COVID vaccine is their choice – and is urging them to walk out of their workplaces and schools on Wednesday to emphasize that freedom.

Liberty Counsel says it's time to take a stand against forced vaccinations.

"We're encouraging people to walk out on WalkoutWednesday – and that's walk out from places of employment, schools, other places; or, if you're [fortunate enough that you're] not being forced to get the shots, … walk out and support those who are," says Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel.

"No one should be forced to get these shots against their will. [And those who think they can't participate without giving notice] can do this at noon your time," he adds.

Some individuals and politicians say the COVID-19 vaccination is necessary to combat the spread. In addition, President Joe Biden has stated that it is an individual's "patriotic duty to get vaccinated." Staver takes issue with that latter statement.

"It's not your patriotic duty to get these shots," says the attorney. "In fact, many people have died and many people are disabled as a result of these shots."

Liberty Counsel Action has posted a lengthy list of "adverse reactions and deaths" related to the COVID vaccine.

"… Take a look at that adverse reaction section as well as the personal stories section to inform your choice," Staver urges. "And by the way, it is your choice and no one else's. It is yours alone."
