Biden forgot to tell Coast Guard 'pandemic over'

More than 1,000 members of the U.S. Coast Guard have refused to surrender to demands and take the COVID-19 shot, and now a religious liberty law firm has filed a lawsuit on their behalf.

Citing their religious objections, more than 1,200 members of the Coast Guard contend they are being denied their fundamental religious rights over what they say is an "oppressive and unconstitutional" vaccine mandate.

Steve Crampton, senior counsel at Thomas More Society, which filed a class action on their behalf, says the Coast Guard is “aggressively” disciplining its own dedicated personnel and lining them up to get booted from their jobs for refusing the mandated vaccine.

Crampton, Steve (Thomas More Society) Crampton

did not go unnoticed by the attorneys at Thomas More, including Crampton, that President Joe Biden declared the pandemic “over” during his “60 Minutes” interview that aired over the weekend.

“It makes you wonder, doesn't it?” Crampton says of Biden’s comment. “There is apparently a disconnect between the White House and its press office, and what's going on with its military commanders at this point, to say the least.”

Meanwhile, the Thomas More attorney says, there is a “full-court press” to demand every member of the U.S. armed forces be forced to get a controversial shot that doesn’t prevent the virus.
