Chicago conservative activist calls for Venezuelan illegals to leave city

A Chicago black conservative activist says it is time for Venezuelan illegal aliens in her city to go back home.

As previously reported by AFN, an illegal alien from Venezuela has been charged with the brutal murder of Loyola University Chicago student Sheridan Gorman.

Jose Medina, 25, is charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, and aggravated discharge of a firearm for the March 19 attack.

P. Rae Easley is an ambassador for the Project 21 Black Leadership Network. She says the Chicago Teachers Union has been going down to Venezuela for almost a decade to build ties and learn about socialism. CTU ties with Venezuela are long and deep.

Easley, P Rae (Project 21 ambassador) Easley

"Why was a municipal teacher's union going down to Venezuela, and now all of a sudden all of these Venezuelans show up at the home of these municipal workers? This is crazy."

In 2019, during Donald Trump’s first term as U.S. president, a group of Chicago Teachers Union members/activists traveled to Venezuela presumably to express solidarity with Venezuelan labor movements.

At the time, the United Nations published a report saying that the Venezuelan government was responsible for thousands of extra-judicial killings and their cover-up. Venezuelans were starving, and the government had denied foreign aid from the red cross for years. Journalists and political opponents had been imprisoned.

Now in Trump’s second term the CTU strongly condemned the administration’s removal of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro who is in U.S. custody and awaiting trial on federal drug and weapons charges.

“The administration hopes that these imperialist conquests will distract Americans from the very real crises we face: an affordability crisis, another imminent government shutdown, skyrocketing insurance premiums that will kick 20 million people off their healthcare, and masked goons invading our cities, terrorizing our neighbors,” CTU publicists wrote.

Easley hopes the new leader of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez is ready to take her citizens back.

"I think that it's time for them to go home. So, if this woman can organize their country in a way that allows them to catch the flights and get out of my city, I really wish her the best."

And Easley wants ICE to return to the Windy City this summer to round aggressive Venezuelans.

"Now that this blood has been spilled on America's front steps, we can all see that this is a very serious matter, and I encourage everybody to keep calling ICE to the city of Chicago and give them addresses along the lakefront, because that's where they parked all of the Venezuelans, so that they can literally come and scoop these people out of our city."
