Could we expect something different under the new Trump Administration?
Campus Reform has reported on its own actions against antisemitism at our nation's higher education institutions.
Zachary Marschall, Editor in Chief of Campus Reform, has sent in 33 Title VI complaints that document what his team calls 'universities' negligent responses to antisemitism on their campuses'.
As the U.S. enters a new term under the Trump administration, he thinks Jews will fare far better.
He said in an interview with AFN, Jews in America are safer when conservatives are in charge of the country.
“So I think that Israel/Hamas ceasefire deal is definitely the result of Trump's support for Israel. This definitely would not have happened without his election victory in November because Hamas and other terrorist allies of Iran fear Trump's resolve and strength in a way they do not fear the Left in this country when they are in charge. I think this is part of a larger trend that has been true for several years now, that American Jews are safer under conservatives."
Marschall said we have seen that since the victory in November with what he called a culture shift in our society.
“People are becoming more bold and speaking up for the first time in years that they are done with the left-wing lunacy, and they want our institutions to stop going into leftist ideologies and activism causes that ushered in the campus protests we saw last year.”
Marschall said he thinks the anti-Semitic protests were the last straw for a lot of Americans who may otherwise have felt sympathetic toward college students.
Schools could soon feel an impact in their bottom line, he says.
“What we have right now is an incoming administration that is set through the Department of Education, through the anticipated Department of Government Efficiency, and conservative lawmakers in Congress that are going to defund higher education institutions that are responsible for propagating so much anti-American and anti-Israel sentiment and indoctrination in this country."
Roots of hatred
Marschall added both the hatred of Jews and of Americans we have seen in this country over the last five years all started in higher education where "radical left-wing professors" normalized being violently anti-American and violently anti-Israel.
Marschall believes positive change is on the horizon. He thinks the U.S. will turn to patriotism, turn to civility, and to tolerance to all religions and ethnicities with this new administration.
