In light of open and violent antisemitism on college campuses, a public college in Florida says Jewish students at Harvard can transfer to its campus where they will be safe and protected.

New College of Florida, a small liberal arts college, made the offer as more of a symbolic gesture of support, says College Fix editor Matt Lamb.

"The university said that even if they don't get any applicants, it's still beneficial,” Lamb says. “It sends the message that New College of Florida is working to pursue the truth. They're going to have a better campus environment than Harvard."

Harvard and its anti-Jewish campus made headlines after its now-former president, Claudine Gay, refused to directly condemn antisemitism on her campus during a congressional hearing in December.

New College, located in Sarasota, has a connection to Harvard and the resignation of Gay. One of the New College trustees is Christopher Rufo, a journalist who exposed Gay’s long record of plagiarism that forced her to step down.

With the approval of Gov. Ron DeSantis, New College has vowed to rid its campus of left-wing ideology include DEI indoctrination.
