The head of a family values organization in Virginia isn't surprised that parents are flocking to faith-based private schools.

Victoria Cobb, president of The Family Foundation of Virginia, thinks it is understandable that schools rooted in a biblical worldview are enjoying increases in enrollment while public schools are not.

"Parents are running and not walking to schools outside the public system," she says. "That's simply because we have had far too many public school systems decide that they would rather indoctrinate than educate."

Since 2019, faith-based schools have reportedly seen a 10% uptick in enrollment. Even though public schools are welcoming fewer students, Cobb says they appear to be digging in their heels.

"They're instead insisting on allowing transgender ideology to flow through their schools and to create places that should be private spaces -- like bathrooms and locker rooms -- available to any gender," she observes.

All the while, they are deceiving parents about what is going on.

Meanwhile, many public school districts are rejecting Governor Glenn Youngkin's (R) "Model Policies on Ensuring Privacy, Dignity, and Respect for All Students and Parents in Virginia’s Public Schools." LGBTQ+ advocates claim the conservative policies concerning pronouns and bathroom usage discriminate against transgender students.
