The number of Muslims in Europe and the U.S has increased greatly over the years.
According to statistics from Pew Research Center, Christians currently make up two-thirds of Europeans, with Muslims around 6%. However, between 2010 and 2020, the Christian population dropped by 9% while the Muslims increased by 16%.
Pew Research also found that there are 5.5 million Muslims in the country today, up from 2.4 million in 2007. The number of mosques in the U.S. have also risen, from 1,200 in 2000 to 2,800 in 2020.
Auron MacIntyre, a columnist for the The Blaze, or Blaze Media, spoke on American Family Radio (AFR)’s “Jenna Ellis in the Morning” program. He warned that surface-level political fixes, such as simply banning Sharia law, fall dangerously short when dealing with cultures that are fundamentally incompatible with Western legal traditions.
“The thing about law is that it’s not just what's on paper, it's what's lived. What we’ve seen repeatedly in places like Europe, where large Muslim populations have grown up, is even if no Sharia law is technically allowed by the country Muslims are in, they ultimately start creating these extra-legal, extra-judicial courts that run on Sharia law,” MacIntyre says.

In an X post, MacIntyre put forth that the simple solution is to ban all Muslim immigration.
“You can write whatever words you like on a piece of paper but once you have enough Muslims YOU WILL GET SHARIA LAW. Stopping the physical presence of Muslims in your country is the only way to avoid this,” MacIntyre wrote.
He emphasized on AFR that maintaining a stable, historically grounded population is essential so that newcomers actually have a shared heritage and culture to assimilate into.
“When you have a constant churn of lots of people coming in, it's very difficult for people to understand America as a place with a permanent tradition that's being carried on,” MacIntyre states.
