Spend a few minutes on the internet or social media, and one probably comes across something anti-Erika Kirk and TPUSA. People and organizations question whether she's really a grieving widow. Meanwhile, podcasters are questioning the shooting and whether authorities have the right suspect in custody.
For example, Candace Owens claims that Mossad agents infiltrated the Utah Valley University and pulled the trigger despite ample evidence that 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was the shooter. She also accused TPUSA, claiming they betrayed Charlie Kirk.
Talking about this Tuesday at the University of Mississippi, a campus that Erika visited in 2025 weeks afterher husband's assassination, Dr. Frank Turek of Cross Examined said that Erika needs prayer. The same goes for TPUSA, an organization that Charlie started and Erika now runs in his absence.
"She needs a lot of prayer," Turek says about Erika. "We have these baseless and sinister attacks coming against her and TPUSA that are right out of the demonic."
Turek was at Utah Valley University with Charlie on the day Charlie was shot and killed. In fact, Turek was standing feet away from Kirk and was at the hospital with Erika later that day.
After the shooting, Turek was pulled into the conspiracy world when a video began circulating on social media that had people believing he was signaling the shooter. Even the FBI question if he was involved. Turek even addressed the conspiracy, saying that it was the “stupidest thing” he’d ever heard.
"Notice that Jesus and the apostles say that Satan is a murderer, liar, accuser and slanderer who wants to kill, steal and destroy," Turek says. "We had a murder. What have we had since then? Lies, accusations, slander, in an effort to kill steal, and destroy."
That, said Turek, is clearly demonic.
"Shame on you if you're fueling these idiotic conspiracy theories," Turek says. "You have an innocent widow who has a one-year-old and a three-year-old, and she's getting demonic vomit thrown all over her. You need to be praying for her every day, please."
