Rogelio Martinez made the impassioned plea on his social media page.
“I need to see 55 gang leaders here this coming Monday. ICE needs to get out of Long Beach. We need to take back the city.”
And to make sure he didn't forget anyone, he called roll.
“Latino gangs, the Cambodian gangs, the Filipino gangs, the black gangs, and the Pacific Islander gangs.”
ICE has a field presence in Southern California and has an office in Long Beach.
Gary Bauer of Campaign for Working Families says the world is turning upside down, when the Left hates law enforcement so much they have more in common with violent thugs.
“Who in Long Beach, California, that's not a criminal, would want to vote for a candidate who thinks it's a good idea to invite the leaders of 55 different gangs to appear in a rally with them?”
He says Democrat leaders have been making ICE officers out to be the criminals.
“Mayors of major cities, members of Congress, are saying that when they get back in power, they're going to track down ICE agents as if they were Nazis and hold them accountable.”
Or Bauer says maybe Martinez is stuck in some dystopian real world West Side Story, some kind of fairy tale, because Martinez has only one rule for the leaders of the murderous Los Angeles Crips and Bloods.
“Peacefully, but with strong force, but peacefully.”
