A recent example of questionable remarks came on MSNBC with host Alex Witt, alluding that some industries will suffer without the work of illegal immigrants.
"… those people that are farm workers, certainly of the 'ag' industry, that's being affected. You have the hospitality industry. Going to a restaurant even. I mean, you may not have people being able to clear your place, move so quickly, the food being served,” states Witt on a video posted on X by Libs of TikTok.
Karol Markowicz, a columnist at the New York Post and Fox News, was asked about this on "The Will Cain Show.”
She did not like what she heard, stating that it used to be racist to say these kinds of things. But now, Democrats state that they want a serf class to serve them and do menial jobs at prices that Americans cannot be paid.
“They want to pay them less than minimum wage in a lot of places. They want to have them work hours that are just inappropriate. And I think that this idea that we can't have a legal immigrant class to do jobs that are entry-level jobs, for example, is ridiculous,” Markowicz states.
Markowicz came to the United States as a small child from the Soviet Union. She said that people she knew got various jobs and they did it legally.
"That was the way that it was done. I think that is the process that we need to follow again. This idea that we need to have a permanent serf class is absurd and rather disgusting,” Markowicz says.
